Summer Courses in your School or Education Centre
If online courses are not for you, the NCTE provides ICT-related summer courses through the network of local education centres. This year, the focus is on the NCTE course Creating and Using ICT Resources for Literacy. Contact your local education centre
for details. Or perhaps your school has already applied for an NCTE-funded whole school training course? The NCTE’s course, Using the Interactive Whiteboard to Support Literacy, will run in 90 schools countrywide for the teachers in those schools. Ask for details at your own school, though your local education centre will also have details.
